Adventure Project #1 - Hiking Red Rock

RED ROCK CANYON!!!

For the first adventure of the year, I must give credit to my (much, much) better half, Erika, for discovering Red Rock Canyon! After months of mentioning and a brief hike on Christmas Day, Erika and I wound up having a blast "monkeying about" (coined it!) on this awesome conservation.

IT'S NOT THE MOUNTAIN, IT'S THE CLIMB...

After two bottles of water, two poorboy sandwiches and an eight dollar fee, we drove up to an unparticular parking lot and parked our kiwi green Ford Focus wagon. From then on out (weird phrase, right?... I mean, how many prepositions do you need for one clause!?!?!)... uh... anywho... From then on out, we embarked on a monkey climb throughout the Red Rock Canyon! (By the way... throught is not the contraction for "through out"...

YOU CAN BLOW DIS... OR YOU CAN BLOW DAT...

Though I (recklessly... fine I'll say that parenthetically...) jump from one rock to the next and free climb blindlessly (Thanks a lot MacGuyver... especially that one where him and Murdoch fought on the cliffside... uh... anywho...), Erika is much more conservative and enjoys her own method of sliding down cliffsides on her bottom... not too mention she's terrified of heights. To spare you the details.

LUCY... YOU GOT SOME 'SLORIN TO DO!

You must slide down on your butt for some of these cliffs = Butt-some-of-these = ...
Buzzamuddese National Park!

Adventure Number 1 Success!
